Welcome to my blog!
My name is Pat. I’m the owner and founder of picasprintables.com. Pica’s Printables first started as an Etsy shop. In my Etsy shop, I sell party printables, planner printables, printable journals, and other printables.
I decided to start a blog because I wanted to share more valuable resources and information about printables. I want to show you all the things you can do with printables. Plus, I want to show you tutorials and what supplies you’ll need. I’ll even show you different printable craft projects, Diy projects, and Cricut tutorials.
Whether you’re new to printables, an experienced crafter, etc. you’ve come to the right place.
The story behind the name
I know the name is kind of unusual. So, I thought I’d explain it. I’m Mexican American. My grandmother, also Mexican American, gave me the nickname Pica when I was a little girl. It’s pronounced like pika.
As far as I know, the nickname has no meaning. But I named my printables shop and blog in memory of my grandmother. She passed away many years ago.
I am 37 years old, single, and female. I never thought I was the creative type. I never took any art classes in school. I received my bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in marketing. In fact, my first blog helpfulonlinemarketer.com is all about helping female bloggers and entrepreneurs make living from their businesses.
I started creating printables as a side hustle on Etsy. The more I did it the more I fell in love with them. The more printables I created the more creative I got. I started to see that I did have a creative side. I just never tapped into it.
Now I love everything about printables, crafting, and diy. I’m living proof that anyone can be creative. You just have to keep practicing and trying.
